Preparing to Launch

I have had the craziest four months of my life. Raising a toddler, becoming a waddler and transitioning to a new role at work have been the most rewarding and tiring experiences. I wouldn't trade any of them for a day off. Seriously. I find energy in even the most exhausting moments, which is why I'm addicted to change. That's not to say I never need a break (taking those small moments allows me to be energized by the crazy), but I'd be lying if I said I actually enjoy down time. I've noticed I go through eight stages when I start feeling overwhelmed:
- Denial
- Wine
- Paralysis
- Panic
- Wine
- Beyoncé
- Reinvention
- Wine
By the end, I have a nice buzz and about ten other things I've added to my plate. Now pregnant, I've replaced the wine with donuts. I'm not mad about it. You do you.
After a few months of Beyoncé, hundreds of donuts and a healthy dose of reinvention, I'm excited to announce the launch of a new apparel line. Strong Like Mama will soon sell apparel with positive, strong messages for moms, babies and kids. I'm working with a tribe of badass women to bring this to life, and I can't wait to get it on my site this summer! Designs and pre-order details coming soon.
Proceeds will go towards organizations that support other strong mamas like the Jeremiah Program and Everyday Miracles.
