The name Strong Like Mama came while shopping for clothes for my son. Everything says, "strong like daddy" or "mommy's hunk." There are almost no positive messages that position moms as powerful, strong, confident role models for their children. I'm changing that. On June 21, 2016, I launched Strong Like Mama apparel, featuring positive messages for nuggets and their mamas. Portions of Strong Like Mama apparel benefit the strong mamas of Everyday Miracles.

Being a mom, at home or at work, is hard, and it takes generations of strong women to raise tomorrow's leaders. I'm working hard to raise a young man who understands who runs the world (girls), and a young woman who knows no limits.
